Aramis Alvarado

Aramis Alvarado was born on Chicago’s North Side in 2007. He is currently a Sophomore at Amundsen High School. At school, he is in guitar club and art club. Growing up he has always loved art. He started taking photos on his phone, editing them, and helping his friends with their edits. Eventually, that led him onto the pathway of the FreshLens Chicago photography program, which allowed him to learn more on his journey.

 
 
 
 
 

Isabel Camacho

Isabel Camacho Moreno is a Sophomore at Amundsen High School and was born and raised in Chicago. She is 15 years old and is a Mexican-American. She is a young soccer player and loves to play and practice any soccer tricks. From a young age, she has had a passion for art. One day her dad handed her a camera and she fell in love with photography. Since then, she has photographed a lot that happens in her life including nature and street art photography.

 
 
 

Anahi Hernandez

Anahi Hernandez was born in Chicago. She likes to explore new places with her camera. She also enjoys cooking and baking. Anahi first became interested in photography in middle school, as she always incorporated the medium into her school projects. She became so in love with her camera that she joined her school’s year book club as a photographer and even took on a film photography class. Soon after, she fell in love with photographing people and reflective surfaces. Photography is one of the mediums that has stood out to her and impacted her life.

 
 
 

Tracy Jiang

Tracy Jiang was born and raised in Chicago. She is currently a Sophomore at Lincoln Park High School. She likes to draw and take pictures in her free time. She developed an interest in those subjects in 4th grade. Her favorite types of photography include shooting rural areas and nature.

 
 
 
 
 

Jonathon Joseph

Jonathon Joseph was born and raised in Chicago. He goes to Amundsen High School and is in the graduating class of 2026. Out of school, Jonathon enjoys spending with friends, practicing his photography skills, and doing his homework. Jonathon became interested in photography when his friend’s dad was photographing birds. He saw this and since that point in 2020, he has been eager to jump into the photography world. Jonathon loves to photograph close up shots of nature or simple designs within the city. He likes a clean, basic look to an image.

 
 
 
 
 

Vivian Lindor

Vivian Lindor is a 16-year-old photographer that attends Northside College Prep. She was born in Peoria, Illinois and moved to Chicago when she was 8-years-old. Besides photography, another art form that she loves is music. She has played violin for 3 years and the piano for 4 years. In the future, Vivian wants to be a neurologist and journalist that documents the lives of people in various environments. In school, she is the vice president of a philosophy club, a board member of a filmmaking club, and a member of a hip-hop dance club. Outside of school, she is the founder of a non-profit for neuroscience networking and fundraising, as well as the President of a chapter of an organization with a similar goal. 

Additionally, she is part of a Northwestern medical program. Vivian’s first exposure to photography was in a filmmaking internship. Her favorite types of photography are street and architecture. Vivian is excited to share her story though her photos.

 
 
 
 
 

Dylan Lopez

Dylan Lopez was born in Chicago, Illinois and is a Junior at Lake View High School. Outside of school, he enjoys taking photos, playing guitar, and hanging out with his friends. He first became interested in photography in early 2022 after noticing vibrant environments around him. His favorite types of shots are ones that show the grime of the city including graffiti, stickered lamp posts, alleys, and bars.

 
 
 
 
 

Marc Maraldi

Marc Maraldi is a student in the FreshLens Chicago fall program. His interest in various mediums include: photography, painting, and ceramics. He was born and raised in Chicago and attends Northside College Prep. Some activities he does in school are martial arts club, Soran Bushi Japanese dance club, stage crew, photography club, and going into the open studio to work on his art. Outside of school, he likes to hang out with his friends, watch movies, and play video games. He first became interested in art and photography in his Junior year of high school. He enjoys exploring the concept of depth of field.

 
 
 
 
 

Sky Raulston

Sky Raulston is a Sophomore at Amundsen High School. She was born and raised in Chicago. Outside of school, her favorite activities include playing soccer, drawing/painting, babysitting, and cleaning up her community. Her father has always been interested in photography and would show her how he takes pictures. Her photography consists of up-close shots of large scenes, objects, or people.

 
 
 
 
 

Jeronimo Rodriguez

Jeronimo Rodriguez is a Sophomore at Lake View High School. He was born and raised in Chicago. He enjoys biking and exploring abandoned places. The reason he started photography is because he believes there are some moments that are worth capturing and remembering. His favorite type of photography is storytelling. He likes to photograph anything that he finds interesting. He finds it important to live in the moment and to stay present.

 
 
 
 
 

Olivia Zawadzki

Olivia Zawadzki was born and raised on the North West Side of Chicago. She really enjoys exploring the city of Chicago in her free time and going on really long walks. This is a big part of how Olivia became interested in photography. On her walks, she would find herself taking pictures of many things with her phone. Olivia’s interest in photography really evolved more when she started traveling with her dad to places with lots of nature and greenery. Olivia realized there is so much more to photography than she expected. Her favorite type of photography is landscape.
