FreshLens Applied Techniques Course

You’ve just completed a FreshLens Advanced Course! Sign up to take our Applied Techniques Course (formerly known as Event A) where you’ll learn more about advanced techniques and storytelling. 

Requirements: 

  • Current high school student

  • Completion of Basic Course and Advanced Course

  • Has demonstrated a serious interest in photography

  • Has shown a high level of responsibility and interest in FreshLens

What can you expect: 

  • 1-2 sessions per week

  • In class shooting and instruction out in the field

  • Field trips

  • What you need to prepare for event shooting

  • Developing a creative brief, what’s the assignment and story?

  • Client management basics, interactions and follow up

  • Lighting and composition such as:

    • On and off camera flash

    • Challenging lighting situations

    • Perspective and angle work

    • Art directing group photos

  • Use new and different equipment

  • Grow as an artist and develop a work flow
